SALT SURF is a New York based surfboard company. Their goal is to deliver quality, progressively shaped boards, especially designed with the New York City surfer in mind. The surfboards are the result of a collaboration with Mauricio Avila, an established shaper based in California.
With the boards shaped in California and the owner, Nabil Samadani also a native Californian, SALT has strong influences from both East and West Coast culture. Currently Nabil is enjoying being a poor New Yorker, always trying to surf more and work less.

However, they also discovered that finding a simple, well crafted surfboard was a much harder task compared to what they were used to back home. So, they partnered up with Mauricio Avila, an established shaper based in California, and began working on a line of surfboards that compliments the New York surfer, in hopes of delivering quality, progressively shaped boards, at affordable prices.
